He also said that fans should trust Druckmann with the film. Troy Baker, the man who motion captured Joel said that he would be interested in playing Joel in the film and that he would also reprise his role in a sequel if he was asked. There have been rumours that a sequel was already in the works but it would seem that there is nothing specific happening at the moment.

We’re only just scratching the surface.”ĭruckmann also revealed that we can expect another piece of multiplayer DLC for the game and that Naughty Dog were in no rush to create a follow up. “As far as where we go and how we make it fit into a film, how it takes into account the unique properties of film… We’re not sure yet.

Whilst talking to IGN at last night’s BAFTA awards (which The Last of Us won five), Druckmann revealed that the movie will indeed be an adaption of the game which means that Joel and Ellie might well be on the big screen sometime soon. I finally got a couple of my friends to buy the game and play with me a year and a half after it came out cause I kept telling them that the multiplayer was fun (Having stopped playing for a while cause I was tired of playing by myself) and then they get it and we start playing and holy shit it's suddenly pay to win.Neil Druckmann, creator of The Last of Us has confirmed that the upcoming movie will be an adaption of the game, rather than a spin off. The multiplayer was even super fun for the longest time until they started introducing the DLC perks and weapons. The story on this game made it my favorite game of all time. Then why the fuck do some of them cost TWICE AS MUCH as the others you're selling? Like Agility and Bomb Expert? It makes no sense for you to price them differently if you actually see them as being equally viable. Just a different way to play for different people". The thing that aggravates me the most about it is they will release these weapons and perks and be like "Oh, these are just as balanced as the vanilla stuff. It's a cool idea to make the player bleed so it forces them to think on their feet quickly, but it's another when it also does stupid amounts of damage and the cost doesn't scale enough. Way too much value for too little of a cost. The crossbow is also sort of a pet peeve of mine. Couple that perk with covert 1 and it is super frustrating. you will still more than likely be able to make a smoke bomb after 1 or 2 boxes. even when your team is up 3 rounds and your parts are really limited by the box balancing stuff (Which is something else I could argue about altogether).

Are you serious with the instant smoke bomb, no self stun, free shiv kill nonsense? Smoke bombs are literally the easiest thing to make in multiplayer. I hate to say they are OP, but sometimes it really feels like it. it was fine when they stuck to hats and masks or whatever, but the guns and perks are kinda ridiculous. Kinda surprised to see this post after it's been going on for almost two years pretty much. I know some of the micro transaction weapons can be play tested with preset loadouts, but that's no excuse in my opinion, especially when they're paired with shit perks.ĮDIT: Should note that I couldn't read the article cause I'm currently at worked and it's blocked, but I have a good idea what it's about.

I told my friends about it so they of course didn't buy the remastered version and so my TLoU MP days came to an end :/ I can still hold my own with vanilla weapons, but when I get killed by one of the cash only weapons, I can't help but wonder if my opponents are getting an advantage. And correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think I had any way of knowing this prior to purchase. When I booted up MP, it included everything but the hats - no big deal I thought, since whatever, just hats.īut man, then they introduce purchasable perks and guns? Come on Naughty Dog. I mistakenly read that the remastered version comes with ALL DLC, so having had the season pass which included the map packs, mini campaign, and the hats, I thought I would be getting everything. Man, I loved the multiplayer so much that I bought the remastered version just for the MP.
